Last weekend I went to Göteborg with my class. It was fun. They are loud. The whole way there they were singing and playing Norwegian Kareoke, where you sing a song with head phones on and other people have to guess what song. We went to three churches on the way to Göteborg to look at the architecture I think. And we went to a place that makes pieces of houses and then ships them to a work site to be put together. On the bus we also spent time initiating the first years with Kareoke and games, but they didn't really do anything that they were told to do. When we got to Göteborg we had free time so we went shopping and I discovered all the cool little shops to look at in Göteborg. After shopping we went to a play put on by the technical university in Göteborg. It was supposed to be funny but I didn't understand anything so it was kind of boring for me. We headed home at about 11 and got home by about 1 am. Then there was a class party when we got home, but I didn't go because I wanted to sleep.
On Saturday I went to Skövde with my host aunt to watch my host cousin play handball. First we had to put advertisements up around the gym. Then we went for Tacos at a pub by the sports center. After that we saw her game. She plays for the premier league in Sweden and last year her team won in all of Sweden. They won their game on Saturday, but it was close. They are rough players. They through each other around a lot. Maggie came and got me from Skövde and then I went to a crawfish party with PeO and Elisa at PeO's sister's house. It was so much fun. We put traps in the water, we had to pin fish pieces in the traps which was gross and then we ate some that had been cooked before. I only ate two but then we had hamburgers and there were potato chips. I haven't had them since I've been here. That was exciting. Then we boiled a bunch of crawfish that they had caught before. Before we cooked them they waited in the bath tub. I felt really bad when we boiled them because we threw them in alive. They tried to get me to throw one in but I couldn't. After we boiled the ones from the bath tub we went out and got our traps. We only caught 7, but that is because we only left them for a few hours, not over night. But it was a lot of fun.
On Sunday I didn't do a whole lot. I played monopoly with Elisa and her friend from Jonköping and we went for a walk because it was really nice out. Then my family called and I cried a lot because they were all together and my dog was there too and I miss my dog. But after a little bit, actually a long bit, it was better.
