So I got to Denmark on Saturday at like 9:15 pm and left Tibro at 10:20am. I took the bus to Skovde and had mcdonalds which made me feel sick for the rest of the day. Then my train to Goteborg left Skovde at 12:11 and I got to Goteborg at like 1:40 and I had to change trains, but I was a little confused because the train wasn't listed for Helsinborg, it just said the final destination and another place on the way, but I figured it out based on the time and train number. Man I'm bright! Then I got on my train to Helsinborg and sat by a lady reading a book in English, but I didn't talk to her because she listened to her music and I listened to mine. Then I got to Heslinborg and had to get my ferry ticket and then the fairy people told me to run to get on the ferry before it left. I got on the ferry and I didn't think I was on the boat because it looked more like a shopping mall because there was a big store right when I walked in the door. But I was on the ferry and then I went up to the "sun deck" but it wasn't very sunny, but I really liked it because I could see out and I love water. The ride only took like 15 minutes and you could see both Denmark and Sweden the entire time. It was cool. When I got to Helsingør the ferry speakers started to talk and I thought it was Germany. Danish sounds a lot like German, well more so when it is over speakers than when real people speak it. But in Helsingør I had chinese food which was actually really good and then I waited for my bus and a homeless guy asked me for 50 kroners, but I said I couldn't speak Danish and then he sat there for a little bit and then moved on. But 50 kronors is like 15 dollars, that is so much. Then my train came and it started to get dark on my way to Kopenhagen which was sad because then I couldn't look out the window. I like riding the train a lot. It is fun, but more fun when it is like out because I can't read or anything on trains so it gets boring if I can't see out. Then in Copenhagen I walked around the station a little bit and they announced trains to Amsterdamn and stuff and there were lots of people and old wood architecture and I felt like I was in harry potter. And the convenience store in the station had M & Ms, they don't have those in Sweden. I took the train from Copenhagen to Odense and I sat with a family which was kind of awkward because they were all reading and stuff, but I couldn't and I couldn't see anything out the window so I just sat looking around and sometimes they would look at me when I looked at them and think I was staring at them. But I got off at Odense and they stayed on. Then I took a train that was more like the LRT to Svendborg which was exciting, but there was Svendborg station and West Svendborg station and I was afraid Signe would go to West Svendborg station, but she was at Svendborg Station waiting for me when I got there. It was so exciting to see her again. Then we drove home and had cake Yesterday they took me all around the island and we went up a church tower and could see all around and we went to a castle and walked around inside and then to another museum that Signe's great grandfather had given a cow troph to, or something. And I learned about the story of a Swedish guy who was married in Sweden, but then came to Denmark and met a German circus girl and they fell in love, but had no money so they killed themselves. And it is supposed to be a romantic story, but Signe says that he was just a psycho who killed her and then himself. She said that when they found them they found dirt on her dress like she had been running and then fell and then tried to crawl away from him. But I guess we'll never know. I bought a bottle opener with their pictures on it. They don't sell pins here, just bottle openers. At the castle they sold bottle openers too, so I am going to collect bottle openers for my Rotary jacket I guess. Today Signe had to work so I went exploring, but all I found was a corn field and a creepy goat. I think I chose the two wrong roads and the other one goes somewhere, but maybe I'll try again. I thought that if I walked straight for long enough I'd find the ocean because we are on an island, but when I try to walk straight along roads the roads always curve. Oh well Signe has two little horses that are my friends, but I haven't been able to go into the pig barn because the smell it overpowering, but maybe when Signe gets home, but I think she is afraid of the pigs. I'm more afraid that they will make my clothes smell.
Okay well talk to you later,
Kirsten

Why is public transit so much better than Canada. That is funny that you felt like you were in Harry Potter. Sounds like you had a great time with Signe.
